What are they?
Divine Counterparts is how I like to reference a soul connection that most mainstream 'spiritual' communities like to refer to as Twin Flames. I absolutely despise the term 'Twin Flame', not because they don't exist but because of the complete and utter misuse, misrepresentation, manipulation and bastardization of that term by the mainstream 'new age', 'spiritual' communities and cults alike. They have taken what was intended to help those who have awakened in this way to help find appropriate people and information related to what they have experienced and instead get a boatload of misinformation, deception and money grabbing tactics that took what was meant to be divine and turned it into something completely misconstrued from its original form and intent. This is why I prefer and use the term Divine Counterparts as this fully encompasses what this soul connection is all about. I understand this term is also used at large to describe much of which I have already mentioned but, for me at least, it feels must less tarnished than 'twin flames'.
This page and subsequent linked pages will provide information that I have received from my own higher-self surrounding this connection and more specifically for those who are members of the LGBTQ+ community. Any information on this topic surrounding this connection between LGBTQ+ persons is not only few and far between but from what I could find out there simply inaccurate to what it actually is, which is why I created this.
How do you know if this is you?
Simple. Anyone who is a Divine Counterpart will be made aware of it through their own higher-self through some type of awakening. There are several ways in which a person could awaken to this that I won't get into here, however this could be an abrupt or a gradual experience or even a combination of both. There may be people who are who don't even know it yet, but they will when their higher-selves deem them ready to know through this awakening process.
I will also say this: contrary to what you may see out there most people that have had this awakening experience have not met the other person that they are connected to. This is not in any way a run of the mill romantic type of connection, this is completely different and does not coincide with the current and outdated relationship templates that exist in our reality here. Divine Counterparts are meant to move beyond that. Period. Any meeting of another person with this connection will be guided and supported by the higher-selves of those involved. You will feel to take any kind of action if necessary but it likely won't be something directly related to the meeting as this is something that is meant to be orchestrated from a higher level and come to fruition naturally in your day-to-day life.
Also, a reminder that this connection is about you and your counterpart. No one else can do this for you. No one can 'activate' you on your behalf you need to do the work yourself, and no one can forcefully awaken you. You need to do this on your own. This is between you and your counterpart and you and your counterparts own higher-selves and combined higher-self.
